By blending French pastry discipline with a strategic brand system, Caro Patisserie has become a cornerstone of Singapore’s artisanal food scene.

How do you bring the soul of a Parisian patisserie to the heart of Serangoon and Joo Chiat without losing its essence in transit? Caro Patisserie, founded by Chef Caroline Titsck, faced the ultimate culinary challenge: delivering authentic, high-quality French tarts that remain light and crisp despite Singapore’s relentless humidity.
The mission was to move beyond the “home-based business” beginnings and establish a visual and strategic identity that lived up to the 12-hour rested shells and imported French butter that define Caroline’s craft.
1. Brand Strategy: The “Lightness of Being”
We positioned Caro Patisserie as the definitive authority on the Authentic French Tart. The strategy focused on “The Lightness”—adapting heavy French traditions into something refreshing and suitable for the local climate. We helped craft a narrative that celebrates the founder’s heritage while inviting the local community to experience a daily, fresh-baked ritual.
2. Visual Equity: Minimalist Elegance
French luxury is often found in what isn’t there. We designed a visual language that mirrors the clean lines of a perfectly baked Tarte Tatin or Raspberry Tart.
The “Freshness” Palette: We used a sophisticated, airy color story that reflects the premium ingredients—the gold of the butter, the deep reds of the berries, and the creaminess of the vanilla.
Packaging as a Vessel: For a brand that thrives on gifting and corporate catering, the box is as important as the pastry. We ensured the packaging feels like a curated boutique experience—sturdy enough for daily delivery, yet elegant enough for a high-end corporate event.
3. Scaling the Craft
Under the Strategic Brand & Marketing Development framework, we moved Caro from a home-kitchen success to a multi-outlet powerhouse.
The Deliverables: We refined the brand architecture to support their expansion from Serangoon to Joo Chiat, ensuring the “hand-made” soul remained intact at scale.
Corporate & Gifting Roadmap: We developed a strategy to highlight their “mini tart” catering services, positioning them as the sophisticated choice for events that require more than just “standard” snacks.
Multi-Outlet Success: Successfully established two physical landmarks in Joo Chiat and Serangoon, both maintaining the “authentic French” brand promise.
Gifting Authority: Positioned the brand as a top-tier choice for corporate gifting, where the quality of the ingredients is matched by the prestige of the presentation.
Community Loyalty: Built a dedicated following of “tart aficionados” who value the 12-hour resting process and the uncompromising use of French butter.
